Gaelscoil Gigs

Introduced in 2023, Gaelscoil Gigs is a series of musical events or concerts that are held at Gaelscoil Philib Barún and promoted by the Parents Association therein. The series is designed to raise funds for the school while promoting both the Irish language and music to a wider audience in Tramore, Waterford and beyond. The event series is promoted online via the Gaelscoil Gigs Instagram account.

  • The first Gaelscoil Gig took place in 2023, when Gaelscoil Philib Barún’s school hall hosted a sold-out concert with Liam Ó Maonlaí and Cór Fear na nDéise.
