Autism Special Class

We are delighted to announce that an autism special class has been sanctioned by the Department of Education to open in Gaelscoil Philib Barún in September 2024. The class will cater for a maximum of six pupils. Applications can be made by submitting an email seeking enrolment, to be accompanied by a birth certificate and any relevant professional reports. Parents’ Association Funding Opportunity

Good news!! Gaelscoil Philib Barún has been chosen by Tesco Tramore as one of the causes that are supported in their upcoming Tesco Community Fund campaign that starts on Monday, 26 February 2024. The campaign runs for 12 weeks (up to 19 May 2024) and includes Easter and the May bank holiday. So, if you are shopping in Tesco please remember to ask for/collect some of the round blue tokens and then place them in the Gaelscoil Philib Barún box.

Admissions Policy Update

Gaelscoil Philib Barún is accepting applications for enrolments for the 2024/25 Junior Infant class from the 1 October 2023 until 29 February 2024. School Open Evening

Gaelscoil Philib Barún is accepting enrolment applications for Junior Infants (for the 2023-2024 school year) during the month of February 2023. Irish language classes every Friday

The school will offer Irish language classes for parents every Friday morning in the school beginning on Friday, 11 November 2022 from 9:15am to 10:15am. Classes will run for 6 weeks, are free of charge and all abilities are welcome to attend. Emphasis will be on oral Irish and communication with children who are pupils in this school.
