Parents’ Association Funding Opportunity

Good news!! Gaelscoil Philib Barún has been chosen by Tesco Tramore as one of the causes that are supported in their upcoming Tesco Community Fund campaign that starts on Monday, 26 February 2024. The campaign runs for 12 weeks (up to 19 May 2024) and includes Easter and the May bank holiday.

So, if you are shopping in Tesco please remember to ask for/collect some of the round blue tokens and then place them in the Gaelscoil Philib Barún box.

The way the Tesco Community Fund works is as follows:

“Our customers will use their blue tokens to vote for the causes at the community fund unit and as the campaign progresses through the 12 weeks, the tokens are emptied and weighted in store. The kgs of tokens are converted into money and each store will we be presented a donation cheque to your local good cause following the end of the campaign.”

The Parents’ Association (PA) would really appreciate your support with this fundraising initiative. We would also appreciate if you could share the news with family and friends so that they can place their tokes in the Gaelscoil box.
