Following recent announcements by the Government in relation to phased return of schools as part of the National Living with Covid Plan, Gaelscoil Philib Barún will reopen for Junior Infants to 2nd class on Monday, 1 March 2021. The school has received additional guidelines from the Department to effectively manage this return while level 5 restrictions remain in place and further details are available in a letter from the Minister of Education to all parents and guardians.
In summary, we ask that parents adhere to the guidelines the school has adopted since September 2020 in our Covid Response Plan. It is hoped that the rest of the school’s classes (3rd-6th) will return on 15 March 2021 and we will continue with virtual classes until then. This is subject to Department advice.
We appreciate everybody’s great cooperation during these challenges. We hope the school can remain open now until the summer. If you have any further queries contact the school on firstname.lastname@example.org.
