The Board of Management of the school has received a written proposal from the DES to build an 8 classroom school with offices and general purpose room on the site here at Crobally Upper. This will accommodate 220 pupils but there will be a provision to grow to a twelve classroom school in the future and to accommodate up to 300 pupils.
The accommodation schedule proposed can be viewed here on the school website. We now await a site visit from the technical staff. Following their report a brief will be detailed and a process for the appointing architects to the project will begin. The Board has been assured that there will be no delay in the progression of the project.

A large number of pupils and parents and even a pet dog joined Gaelscoil Philib Barún in its St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Tramore. ‘Celebrating 25 years was the theme and props were supplied by Kevin Ó Liaghainn, Mochuda, Naoise and Caoillte’s dad. He constriucted a giant cake and 25 candles which were carried with great enthusiasm by the children. Thanks Kevin!
